Synthesis Workshop
May 20-21, 2008
The Synthesis Workshop critically reviewed and integrated the insights and findings of the previous health care reform workshops. At this workshop, presenters provided short summaries of the salient findings of each of the six health care reform workshops. The participants include members of our Advisory Committee and a group of paper writers, commentators, and participants from the previous health care workshops. Representatives from the foundations that provide funding were also there. The aim was to see whether there is consensus on the key questions—or at least narrow the range of considerations on each question—and to develop a coherent set of suggestions for health care reform policy makers.
